K Smart Sign's Epic Journey: From the UK to Arkansas - Part 1
Introduction: Welcome to the exciting new blog series and "soon to be launched" YouTube channel from K Smart Sign Ltd! We are thrilled to share with you our incredible journey as we take on a monumental project in Arkansas, USA. Join us as we document our adventure of delivering and installing our renowned Bellissima H3 signs on 380 apartments, thousands of miles away from our base in the United Kingdom. In this opening post, we'll provide you with an overview of the project and the challenges we faced. So, buckle up and get ready for an unforgettable ride!

A Surprising Opportunity:
It all began with an unexpected phone call to Phil in CS, our dedicated team member, from a customer services representative. Initially skeptical, Ben couldn't believe that a company in Arkansas had chosen us to create personalized house signs for their massive apartment complex. The sheer distance, nearly 5,000 miles away, made him question why they would select a company based in the UK.
"Bens route has been mapped out and over the 800 mile drive he will stop at 4 hotel / motels. The final 2 nights being in Arkansas. Ben plans to over deliver the signs and save a day then drive down to new Orleans"
A Daunting Deadline:
To Ben's surprise, the client had a tight deadline of just two weeks for the signs to be delivered. This posed a significant challenge, as international couriers wouldn't be able to meet the timeline. Faced with this seemingly impossible task, Ben had a bold idea - he decided to fly to Arkansas himself and personally deliver the signs. This would not only ensure timely delivery but also create an exciting opportunity for K Smart Sign's first-ever YouTube video.
The Logistics:
To tackle this ambitious plan, Ben devised a strategy. He would ship the front sections of the signs via UPS to a hotel in Arkansas, where they would meet him. Meanwhile, he would personally carry the backplates and other components in multiple suitcases during his flight. Ben arranged for a makeshift room in the hotel to serve as his workspace, where he would assemble the signs.

An Extraordinary Journey:
Ben's journey would take him from Manchester, UK, to Atlanta, USA, where he would land before embarking on a 13-hour drive to the Arkansas job site. Along the way, he planned to stop at two different hotels, utilizing the second night to build the signs. Little did Ben know that his route would lead him through "The Ozarks," a region made famous by the award-winning Netflix series. Discovering this coincidence only added to the excitement of the journey. Additionally, the drive would take him through iconic American cities such as Nashville and Memphis, providing a glimpse of the rich cultural tapestry of the United States.
